I just did the body mount mod of drilling for front suspension top plate this weekend and it worked ok. What I found out was that the body gets pushed down way more with this mod because at that spot of the body it starts to curve up toward the front window. So when you push the body down onto the new mount position then the body hits the servo saver and also hits all the throttle/brake linkages and you have to cut holes in the body so they can move without hitting the body and also the body sits onto the top of the pipe so you have to do alot more trimming.

Well BBennet (Brian) found the perfect fix!! OCM mounts are really long and mount to the stock position on the tower but move the mount more than a inch further back and is in the perfect position for the body and since your body post hole is not so close to the tower it will not crack open.

Below are 2 pics. In one you can see the mod where I put the old stock post after drilling the top plate and also installed is the OCM body mount that is extended off the tower and is perfect. The other is how the body posts come. You get 2 to a bag that are the same so you have a spare. I will be sending this pic to Mike and Mikey to see if we can have some made. THIS IS WHAT THE 1.5R SHOULD HAVE AS THE FRONT BODY POST.

I have 3 sets left. Had 4 but I used one. I sell OCM stuff to till it runs out, or gets completely covered in dust LOL! Nobody has OCM stuff in the US anymore accept for me I think. $5 a set plus shipping from me. I know you can get some from other countries if you look it up.

I did that on my friends car, but i used a piece of fuel tubing over the screw to give it that finished look.

The Losi 2.0 truggy rear body mount mounted in the factory mounting position works well to.
