Caster had a good showing. I was able to drive up and help out Saturday. After some initial issues everyone seemed to do very well. Cam had some bad luck in the first qual as he had a bad case of food poisoning. He spent most of the morning in the bath room. I made some set up chages to his truck for the second and he drove it to the 5th fastest time over all if I am not mistaken and the last I heard he put it in the A. I had to leave on Sat so I was not able to stay and help but my undrstanding is that Cam was in the mix throughout the main untill his tires went away. Never the less a great showing for the K8T at the first round of the Pro Series North.

As for Buggy David Albreico had his Caster dialed in. He was consistant and in the top one or two of his heat each of the first two rounds. He also put his buggy in the A and had some issues with his motor. I was told it just had no power. But still another great showing for Caster and David!

I am hoping this is all good information as I got it over the phone. If not I am sure came will let us know the real results.

Hey guys... just a post to say I'm back from the race and hope everyone else makes it home ok.

We had a great time racing with BigC and the guys... the weather was terrible leading up the the race... rain rain rain.... no practice at all until the quals started finally Sat afternoon. And we definitely needed some track time but didn't get any.

We had all sorts of issues (and some very rusty driving on my part lol) but the awesome part was the Caster cars were very good... very competitive when we got a motor to run right and stopped hitting stuff like fence posts etc lol.

Was good to meet Jason and Clayton and hang out.

Cam did qual 6th in expert truggy, and ran well but didn't stop for fuel when we told him to, and popped a couple glow plugs and chased a good tune on the new motor... so he spent a lot of time in the pits.

Alberico did a great job and just missed the A... suffering from motor issues.. losing power a few laps in, but managed to bump up from the B even though his car was a dog coming off the corners. He got that fixed for the main and had a good run but dropped off with several extra pits to fix a flopping broken body.

agressor (Matt Rodgers) also had a great showing and ran in the top 3 most of the B main, and even lead at one point but didn't hold on for a bump up.

Caster got a lot of "run" by the announcer during that race, with both Dave and Matt running up front most of the race.

We got some pics and video, including Cam on the stand in the A main next to a 2007 world champion driver who kicked everyone's butt btw. BigC has the pics and I need time to process the video.

Time for bed.. after a long weekend and late nights...

Oh, BTW....

Fusion G-Force shock and diff fluids also made the show!!!

Expert truggy and buggy A main had two drivers in each, running the diff and shock oils.

Thanks to Cameron Martin, David Alberico, and Mack Vanderbeek who made the A in both classes.

Congrats guys. Wanted to race this weekend but got rained out! Went to my LHS track at his house about 10 miles away and dry as a bone!! No transponder system there but we did have some fun races and ran up there with some local fast guys with 8ight buggies and Matrix buggies and was right in the mix and led alot too. My motor was not as strong as theres but made up for it in the jumps and turns enough where I was ok on the straights and Alot less crashing for me. CONSISTENCY BABY LOL!

Truggy had Engine tuning issues (RPM's going high over jumps) that caused me to land on my ass and break a rear arm so did not get to run that.
