I just got an email from Mikey asking us to refrain from talking to him about replacement parts, sponsorships, team pricing, etc.... Apparently, there have been several people asking him several questions and he would appreciate it if it was handled through us. This is not a scolding or anything, but his role is obviously the manufacturer and ours is sales, distribution, marketing, team management, and customer service issues. I am virtually available 24/7 through e-mail and I can forward information to Cam if I can't deal with the question or problem.
If Mikey is busy being the manufacturer, we get parts quicker, we get the new electric buggy quicker, then the RTR, then the truggy....then he begins the 2009 models.... So, if he spends his day talking to customers or team members about whatever, it might mean that the new box design is delayed a week or 2 as he doesn't make everything... There is far more to it then just stamping out a part and calling life good....so and so forth...
So, if you have the capacity to read this, do not contact Mikey. I told him to forward everything to me and not to reply anymore. Hopefully, when we get the electric vehicles up and running, he will be able to come back here more and read up on what is going on and post some again.
As a side note, we have just begun talking to RC Driver and RCTVLive about testing the new electric buggy. I need to get going on some form of ad for magazines, etc.... So I might not be quite as quick to respond as normal. This is the first spring season for Caster in the United States and we all need to work together to make sure that when the big rush hits, that we all have everything in place. If you need any parts, etc....contact Cam or Lee.
