So what is the deal with this race? Have they done this before?
Are they going to host their own "nationals" every year? I bet ROAR doesnt like it too much, lol.
Curious to see what the turnout will be on this one.

I am still confused on their race entitled, US Buggy Nationals.

I believe it is just the name they picked for a big annual race. Should be big and alot of fun. As I am sure you can remember unless you ran in the East Coast Nitro Series or attended one of the Nitro Fest races there was not any other time to race on the track. The new owners are now going to have weekly club races and hold larger events for everyone to enjoy the excellent track. From what I have read the layout will remain the same just different obsticules.

I am glad they are running more races. It is an awesome track, very challenging and fun. I know they have to run more races than before. When Lance told me the lease they have on the land for the track, I was gasping for air. It is a loss unless you can have at least 3-4 races a month.

I understand why they named the race "US nationals"...to creat a buzz and big time feel to the event. But IMO it's bush league and arrogant. Just rubs me the wrong way, that's all. It would not be so bad if they called it something like "east coast nationals" or "spring nats" or "fall nats" or something.... but the title they have seems designed to steal the thunder from the REAL nationals, which is the ROAR santioned race, like it or not.
I know ROAR isn't winning any popularity contests, but it still is the legal body for having regionals and nationals. Unless The Farm is sponsoring regional qualifying races all over the US, then I think they need to pull the name.
I have already heard comments from other racers that echo what I'm thinking, so I know I'm not alone there....
But, to each his own... LOL
