Chassis are wonderful!!!
There is few pix in archive (photos in archive made by my friend on track, professional photographer will send pix to me soon)...
It was first winter Udmurt Republic Open Competitions for Nitro Vehicles - extreme track conditions - air temperature from +1 to -3C, rain, snow, sun (weather changes very fast all day); ice, water and snow on track...
There was 3 qualifications (3x5minutes) and 1 final race (1x15 minutes), I was leader in 1st and 2nd qualifications and broke wing in 3d and was 2nd on finish (photo included)...
And I think that I did "overtune" (if you understand ;-)) engine for final race and broke piston/connecting rod in my HPI engine, so I was 3d in final :-(
Chassis good balanced, steering response are wonderful! And only one word for tires - "best!" I did ever use (it's not a joke!).
I'll send my setup list tomorrow, now I need some sleeping after hard day... )))

There is a lot of snow on winter only ) And you must change air filter every 5 mins )
Air temperature on summer is about +30C and no snow... So we have a lot of dust and dirt on chassis too )))

i think the New D55 Racing high density foam will help with your dust in Russia, as the D55 is specially develop for heavy dust tracks.....

Try a air filter cover like this. It is off of a Redcat Hurricane I have and comes with them stock. It is meant to keep water out. You can see at the bottom of the filter cover where it has wholes to breath without getting the filter wet.

Thank you guys, but I know this tip...
There is some difference between snow and water/dust - snow fill all free space between foam and cover and engine not starting... It's good tip for backyard bashing but not for competitions I think... It's better to change filter foam (usually only outer element - second element with oil and stop water...) after each qualification/race... If you racing in Russia on winter/spring time )))
P.S. For now and future - sorry for my English )))

man, i think racing in normal condition is still far best than anything else,
really, sunny day with nice grip on the track, and fire up the engine,
just rock the baby on the track, ...i think that is the best, as i raced one time in a raining track...dam...that is just a lot of clear up work....
and you can say kiss goodbye to your ball bearings....^___^ and all the metal shafts....really......^__^:)
well, not just the rain, and also the mud...and if you dont' do well water prove, ..you can also say good bye to your lovely servos.....

who racing on snow 4-5 month in year know all needs of his car/truck/buggy )))
better way to save electronics from water without disassemble servo/reciever etc - condom ))) it stretches very good and can store all your electronics from radio box in dry conditions... also you can wrap servos with it...
it's funny to read until you throw your electronics in trashcan cause water damage it...
but it was just quick tip, better using liquid silicone (usually used in real cars for quick gasket, isolation etc - sorry I don't know how to explain in English, hope you understand) - it is dry fast, can be used in high temperature conditions, easy to remove etc
just use it to cover all holes on radio box and servos backplate (or under backplate) and it really helps to save your electric parts...
P.S. don't use this tips if you want to cover electric motor for rainy day racing etc - you'll damage your motor! there is no cooling through rubber/silicone/latex materials!!! your motor will burn in minutes...
best wishes...
