Well broke a A-arm today on the K8T:mad:. First piece of PVC I hit at the end of the night and CRACK! I was wondering what does boiling your a-arms do. I hear alot of guys doing them to make the arms more durable or something. Anyone know of do this on there K8T

boiling the arms just helps make them a bit more pliable and they take the shock much better in prangs.
Usually we put the older rear wing stays and wings in boiling water.

I would think that actual bolig is extreme.
I fill a bowl with boiling water from a kettle and let the plastic parts soak for 5-10 mins and ten remove and allow to cool down.
Dont want teh A-arms to be too soft or it will chage the way the suspension reacts.

We need to have new line of "Zigzag Option" parts... made of a special material, new to r/c....
but well known as the stuff goodyear uses in their products!!!!! :&!@

whwhw, well, the K8T have a very long arm, so Caster is using filber arms,
so during the long race, the car will always have stable performance on the suspension,
and sure, in return it have more chnage to break if you hit stright on the wall or at the
angle...but i think now days, we are trying to look for a material with fiber is hard also
durable....well, cooking the arm is only for some extreme racing...>^_^
in ZIG style....LOL
