New 2009 K8T with F8T Towers and RTR Body

Here is the new updated 2009 K8T I just got. I installed the F8T shock towers as they are alot wider and taller then the stock ones. Also got a F8T RTR body I am trying out to see how it holds up. Looks awesome! You can also see the new 150cc fuel tank and new spur gear along with the new brakes and stuff. Comes with all Captured hinge pins too now. Oh I put TQ Big Bores on it......:( Sorry Mike.

They are. They did not come like that out of the box. Mikey put those ball studs in a extra bag and I got 4 of them assuming they are for the steering rod ends. Since I put the new steering rods ends from the F8T I had these left over which are the same. If you order the new captured steering rod end assembly you will get those ball studs. I do not think they come separate yet.

Put the black shock towers on it and e-clip front upper arm hinge pins, and stock old steering rod ends and stock big bores and the rest is as you see it in my pics. Mikey did add the captured ball ends you can replace with the ones already on it if you like. Truck was just changed to include all the upgraded parts mikey has come out with and thats really it.

That RTR body looks sweet.
Would be better if the white section came clear so you could paint a different colour.

Updated truggies are available now. If you order a K8T you will get the new one. The body Mike has to order. I am trying it out this weekend. Supposed to be alot better than the old one. From what I can tell so far by feeling it, it should be.

Tried the RTR body this weekend and it held up great. 10 times better then the old one. I will probably be using this body from now one. I do tape the inside of all my bodies as a precaution but it still held up great!

10 piece set technically is for the ovals, but will fit on the round since they are just foam.

why dont the truggys come with side guards, it would help keep the dirt out, or is this not the issue?

I have wondered this myself. Especially with the new body being shaped around them. Maybe it is a way to increase sales.
