Thank you for the compliments! The other moderator is the real reason why the new page is 100X better and will be 500X better. He is a personal friend of mine and if I was going to make a webpage or a forum or anything else web based, I would use him........oh yeah, I am!!!

I am frantically trying to get the shopping cart info done before we can move on since he says I need to get it done first. I am currently just entering the important info and I ran into a couple of self induced problems. For example, I posted all the pics as bitmap images instead of jpegs and that would have drastically increased the page loading speed for everyone, so I had to go back and re-do everything. Of course, when I actually got started on this project, a few other things came up and I haven't been able to devote as much time to the page as I would like. Luckily, we still have some time. It appears that some people are starting to find this place and in regards to the forum, post away. If you need anything, teamcasterracing still works for purchasing. We will be live by March 1 on this side of things. I was hoping that by having a forum, we would have a specific area for conversations so that there would not be the problems that seem to take place in a general forum, like slow speed, arguments, etc...

all i know that the forum is rocking, and its awsome, that we can all get together and chat, and solve the problem, and develop even more products, or ideal in the forums, and everyone can join the development team....etc...something like that, of course, sometimes, some ideal can't turn into a actual product due to cost of production or problem of normal production...etc.......but its a good place to chat and know all the Caster Guys here.....rock it.

I am Cam's business partner from the Des Moines area. Cam and I had an agreement that we would have a friend of his make our webpage and he was to be in charge of it for a fee. I couldn't get him to do anything and he bounced between Cam and I for things. Personally, I do not feel it was his fault. In the meanwhile, I got so pissed over the whole thing that for the past 3 months, I have been trying to learn everything I can about webpages, forums, and shopping carts. The other moderator here is Rich McCabe. Most importantly, he is a friend of mine, he is a customer of mine in my day job, I am a customer of his in his day job, and finally he is my stepbrother's brother in law. So as far as I am concerned, besides being a friend, he is a relative. That being said, he owns a couple of computer companies in Des Moines and he let me fall on my stubborn ass for a few months before I gave in and let him help me. The site set up is pretty much all his doing with his programs and servers. Cam and I tried several alternatives and I finally gave up and asked for help. I doubt he will be in here much, unless there is some catastrophy that I can't figure out.....lol. However, he bought a R/C heli last year, so there is hope........

As for who is who, Cam and Dom are apparently too busy or too scared to join this forum. I am sure they will be here soon as they probably need to be. I personally know enough about R/C to be dangerous....or make a website and forum without actually touching a Caster vehicle yet......

Hey guys,
I finally made it to the new forum, nice job guys... I'm finally getting over this damn flu thing, give me a week or two to catch up at work and I will be a bit more active with the Caster efforts....

As for the Nitro Challenge, it was a horrible week of racing for me.. I arrived at the track on Tuesday night to set up our pit area and motorhome, well after spending a few hours out there I was feeling pretty bad so I fugured I would go home and get a good nights sleep so I would be ready for practice on Wed. Well Wed morning I headed out to the track feeling ok, again after only a few hours I was feeling pretty bad again, so I ended up sleeping all day in the motorhome :( again I figured I should go home and try to shake this damn flu thing. So Thursday morning I woke up, headed back to the track for qualifying.. needless to say I was back at home in a few hours with a 103 temp.. I didn't even make it to the track Friday.. So along comes Sat morning, feeling pretty good I head out to the track again, I knew I was going to have to do some serious bumping to get to where I wanted to be.. first main rolls around and I have the bump spot secured, I was just coasting around waiting for time to expire when my pit guys yells at me "Hey that was for position!" I thought I was a lap up on 3rd so I just let him go by, this would not be a big deal I was much faster than him.... only problem was he passed me on the last lap!!! so that ended my truggy day..

Buggy was much the same, however I never even made the first lap:( I had the throttle linkage pop off on the first lap after one of the best starts I have ever had! It was a real shame, the buggy was sooo good in warm up I took 3 laps and pulled it into the pits. I knew at that point that I had an A main car for sure, all I had to do was drive... so that where the buggy day ended 14th in the "B".

Next time I'm going to try to stay healthy!!!

Dom isn't he only one who has been hit with a bad flu thing... it's a bad deal, lots of people sick lately :mad: my whole family got it... but fortunately we didn't have it as bad as some.

Man I can't wait for spring... it's been a LONG winter here... and more snow tomorrow again. Our track is buried in about two feet of snow and ice.... :(

True. We do have a big change in seasons which makes things interesting. It can get old after a long winter, although there are places where the winters are worse than where I am for sure.

Remind me of this in August when we complain about the heat, lol

btw, I have a brother that lives in Angola... they have to travel through SA on trips to home and back. (U.S.)

Thought Id join the forum finally! Just about done on the builds of the vehicles Mikey sent me to start the spring season here in the midwest. We have a large pro series race coming up in Pleasant Hill Missouri that will have well over 200 entries. Last year was the first race there and it had 213 entries. I think the Caster buggy has a legitamate shot at making the top three and I dont know about the truggy yet as I havent ever driven one and yet, but they look good on the links to you tube. I will post pictures of the vehicles soon and put on here so you guys will believe that I actually race!!

When is this Missouri race?

it starts april 19th for practice and ends the 21st. p hill is a killer track and taylor james and jared tebo will probley be there as this is their home track, come out to this race if you can its a great race.
