View Full Version : Engine Mounts Screws - Tool

Guys, my engine mount screws constantly come loose. The bottom screws are nut locked but the manual doesn't say to nutlock the top 4 screws so I didn't. Anyway, can someone recommend a tool to tighten these better. My allen wrenches aren't doing the trick. Any ideas?

Any screws that go into aluminum I loctite. I think that is why they are coming loose. I do not have a problem with them coming loose at all and I just use the allen handles. You could try the Ball end allen tools so you can get in there at an angle and tighten them better. I still use regular ones and not ball ends.

Looks good. Can you add the filter to the site. I'd like to include the filter in my next order. It would also be good if you had the complete screw set for the K8T.

On another note, if someone knows where I can get/download realrace G2 pm me. I know it's been discontinued and just wanna see it. A torrent search didn't help either.

What vnm said. If it's metal to metal, thread lock it. I've yet to have any screws back out. When in doubt, whip it out ....the lock tite that is.

I did ask cam about them (screw kit) yesterday and he still does not have any but should be getting them maybe with this next order.
