Well guys I installed a 200oz. Caster servo this morning on my ZX1-R before we ran. All I can say is I ran by buggy pretty good today and the servo is pretty darn good! It is fast and it is strong. My Hitec 5955 makes more noise than the Caster servo. Servo took it like a champ today. Hopefully it will keep going strong. Bought it to take a chance on the Caster servos and test it out and so far A+++ 100%.

I would only take that chance if the Caster servo is for your steering only. Speaking from personal experience I would never utilize a Caster servo for throttle usage. Four weeks ago I had a 9851 servo that locked up at full throttle during a qualifier. "Runaways" are something racers never want to see happen to themselves or their fellow racers.

I have Caster servos in my TeamMagic M1-B buggy that i use for parking lot bashing with the guys.
So far no issues with them at all and they go through punishment on a parking lot.
Have a Caster servo in my Truggy on the throttle from beginning of last year with no issues.
Servos i have are from the first batch made for caster and only hassle i had was 2 that didnt work out of the packet but no failures.
I beleive the current ones are a better quality and so far of those i have only had a hassle with a 9kg analogue one being faulty out the box.
All 13kg digitals have been working great and even have survived running in a Losi 8ight.

I believe my servo was from the first batch of digital servos that was sold in the USA. It is a C-9851 that I used in the ZX-1R Buggyhttp://i255.photobucket.com/albums/hh139/mj_rodgers/C9851.jpg

Well like you said I am only going to use it on the steering and not throttle. Much safer that way.

Good call. Best to not take any chances. I wouldn't want anyone to have a "runaway" and potentially hurt someone or ruin their engine.
