Well..............Saturday was a mix of everything you can imagine. Sun,rain, blistering heat, cool temps, basically everything but snow. Through all three heats I stayed consistent staying in the top ten for the A Main truggy. The Buggy was a little different story, 1st qual went fine, 2nd qual everybody was beating the hell out of each other then worrying about the clock not to mention my throttle servo decided it just wanted to quit on me and by the third qual the rain set in the the temps dropped about 20 degrees which completely trough off my tune on my Go Tech 3 port. What I didn't realize was the motor was finally to its broke in and ready to rip stage!!!!?&^ So after fattening up the bottom end about 2 turns it was ballistic. I put on a fresh set of GRP Cubics for the main, which I only made the C....About 3/4 into the race I lost rear traction really bad and was more focus on fighting the car to make it around the track. I did however finish but only in the 5th spot:( I will have picture soon to follow of my bald/slick tires that were left after the main. That 3-port is unreal!!!!! I have never in all my years of racing ever had a motor completely slick a brand new set of tires in one main. As for the truggy main, the 5-port decided it wanted to make sure everyone knew it was on the track and ate anybody that came down a straight away with me. The power of the 5-port in a truggy is as equal to a O.S. speed motor if not more!!!! About half way into the 30 minute main I lost 2 motor mount screws and the motor slid off the spur gear. Not a big deal, we went to the pits, found some screws and got back out there to finish in the 8th. spot. So all in all, it was a great race with a $690.00 payout for buggy and $580.00 for truggy which I brought neither one of them home. Practice makes perfect.

That's why the PRO's are the PRO's and we are who we are:(. I did win my last race even though it was just a club race but one more lap and I would not have finished. My K8T was limping around rolling the jumps the last lap!

That was the most abrasive track I've ever ran on. I destroyed a new set of soft K2's in 4 tanks of practice.

I thought I posted that before? Guess not. On the beginning of the last lap my revs starting going up but the truck was not taking off. Everytime I hit the throttle it got worse and sounded like a bad slipping clutch or gear mesh skipping teeth. I found the rear diff chewed up when I got home. My fault as I forgot to put back a washer the night before when I took it apart to inspect. Our mains are timed and on the last turn the countdown started from 10 seconds and I just sat there and blipped the throttle lightly till it got down to zero and said race over and then I crosse the finish line. If I would have crossed it before I would have had to finish the lap I was on and the truggy would not have done that it was so bad! I was able to sit there because 2nd place was 2 laps behind me!

It was funny because I had guess yelling "what are you doing", "Is it broke" and I just ignored everyone till it was time to cross. LOL! Then I explained myself :D

I was thinking that you might have been just slightly confused since you have been touching all that OCM stuff lately.... Dont they have rear diff problems????

The problem with the OCM wasn't the diffs...it was/is the dimensions inside the bulkhead. They have too much room...have to be shimmed perfectly.

Why not? When he gets about 80 years old, he can put "oil" right below the "caster"

I don't know; at that age, "CASTER4LIFE" may appear like something else. Scrabble expert a lil help.
Maybe "CAM4LIFE". Not such a good idea. :p
