K8T bodies

is there any K8T bodies out there that come pre painted with a design and everything??? i am not artistic at all and dont have the tools to try anyways. i might even pay one of you guys to make me one if any1 would be interested?? this would be later in time though and i already have an idea for the scheme.

If you do not want to paint a design they Proline makes a body that has graphics already on it and all you do is paint the single color and that is it. Looks like you custom painted it. Any body you get make sure it is for or fits a Mugen MBX5T. They fit great. Here is a link

alright thats sweet ill look aaround to see what i can find. it would be sweet to make a caster racing canada K8T by painting the body with the canadian flag. thanks for the link. what paint do you need for painting though?

Your LHS should have some spray paint made especially for painting plastic and bodies. Parma and Pactra are two that makes paints. I have used Pactra with no problems at all.

You cannot really paint over it. If you do then the paint will flake off and scratch real easy. The bodies are painted from underneath.

YD, the symbian body that vnmsgt is using looks better IMO. I think I also read that it is a perfect fit without mods too. I have the purple/pink body and I had to cut alot off to get it to fit right (probably my inexperience). My body now looks like a hack but I'll keep it until Its destroyed then move on to the symbian body.

Can someone post a linkey of the body or model #?

I honestly do not see why he does not carry Caster. I mean he has buggies and truggies of alot less quality that he sells.

There are alot of products that are popular that amain doesn't sell. I'm not sure why. They picked up GO engines pretty quickly seeing that there was HUUUGE threads on the subject.

There are reasons why Kendall has not picked up Caster and I fully understand why. He actually has helped me tremendously recently and is waiting for me to send him some samples. I am waiting for the bigbores and I am going to send him a zx-1r to test, then an electric. Hopefully he is impressed and takes us on. That will be one of the keys to the success of Caster....a big distributor taking it on.....then of course, the magazine reviews that will be coming as soon as I get some electrics in hand.....and word of mouth of you guys and your performance on the tracks....

I think what Hak said about sending samples is your best bet. The fact that everyone calls it a "Mugen Clone" may be turning Kendall off to the idea initially. Except for the GS XUT (which you don't see a lot of except in asia) the brands Kendall has are already established (stateside). Seeing it in person and letting him test it is the fastest way to change his mind. With the MBX5T going the way of the Dodo shortly the Caster could fill a spot for those that consider the Caster a copy of that truck with parts support thats not going to dry up. I hate looking at it that way...but such is life.

i actually think im going to buy the same body you have vnmsgt and try doing my own paint job with cans cause i watched those youtube videos and they are pretty helpful. i was going to use a green like yours cause its my fav color but i dont wanna copy lol.

I do not think it will match completely. I tried using genuine Kawasaki green paint from my job and Suzuki Burgman silver too. They are made to paint plastic and seemed to work perfect. No flaking or anything.

thx guys. No I didn't paint those. Those came from Bradley Fine line designs. He does awesome work. He had access to getting bodies so it saves some time that I don't have to ship them to him. They are kyosho bodies but I will make them fit my caster rides. ;) If I remember right I think I paid about 140 for both and that included the bodies and shipping to me. Anyone wanting contact info just let me know.
