Comments：To the Point: Our brand new faciltiy-- Proving Grounds Raceway Jenison MI is hosting the Northern Nationals elec Dec 12th and nitro 13th. I would like to have a showing from team Caster. If a racer from out of state, can out place a MI racer in the top three, then their race entries are comped. Tees with race results will be mailed. I guess you could say I have a chip on my shoulder about Cali. Obviously I don\'t expect them at this event, but they\'ll have to come eventually. The entire concept behind our facility is to produce and showcase top Michigan talent. Thanks for your help in turning the tide. Livlrge Uncle E

This place is about 5 hours from me. I am going to be working up there next week and I planned to stop in there and check it out. From the videos and the pics the place looks pretty nice.

I would be up for trying to get to this race and represent Team Caster.

I am 30 minutes away from this track it is top notch and I have already been running there. The guys that run the track are really promoting it and the opening day race saw 200+ entries on a Friday Night which doors opened at 6 pm est

I ran 1 qualifyer and had to leave due to work(Darn oncall) But they didnt get done racing untill 4:30 am

The Northern Nationals race will be huge and I will be there. Anyone else that wants to come on up just let me know I have plenty of room at my place.

BTW if you want to run with some of the best Factory guys in the business this is the place to do it. Opening day saw half a dozen national Champs show up and the racing was very tight!

I need to get a Banner to stick at the track!

It is...

1.) California area
2.) Michigan area
3.) Florida area

I thought that Florida/Alabama was #2

I think Iowa is about 48.

Not sure with Off Road probally close.. although a bunch of the factory guys in Cali are from Michigan.

I have been to this track,the place is very nice and the people are very nice,with that said and this is not a slam on uncle e or all the people involed I repeat this is not a slam,the track is a great 1/10 scale track but very tight for 1/8 scale,its there first layout and they said they will change the layout every 6 weeeks so just keep that in mind if you are going to travel there,we drove allmost 3 hours and ran practice and went home and didnt race,we will go back when they change the track and give it a try,it is a top notch place and am looking forward to go back,maybe I am to picky cuz some 1/8th scale guys like the layout but I thought the lanes were to narrow and didnt flow to well..just my 2cents

Ok the track is redone and looks great,I will be there on sunday,if you are wanting to run electric buggy or truggy go on sunday and will have to run with the nitro guys they dont have a lot of e guys to run on saturday so there might not be enough to race so sunday will be better,they also have a challenge,if you are not from michigan and place in the top 3 of your class they will refund you entry money,Im looking forward to getting my money back and spanking some michigan butt..<*&..lol

I will see you there Sunday. I am going up Saturday night and staying at the Hampton Inn just north of there in Wyoming. I had my car pretty dialed last time I was in there. Now that I have all my tires I am looking forward to getting both of my entries back.

I intend to make it to this track over the winter months 100%. Jjust won't make THIS race. When you say top three, should I assume that means including Allen Horne and Mr. Phelps? LOL... I'm guessing they come out???

I will be sure to say hi when I'm there, and have heard other Canadians say great things about the place. A bunch of Jammin drivers I know went down, and loved it!
