Is the Caster Racing ZX1-RTR tough?? Hell yes! Check out this video. It is from the state race I was just at and a friend ran a box stock RTR including stock servos the whole 3 days of racing. He is new to racing and this was his first time so give him credit and cut him some slack for entering a state race. There are some sick crashes and NOTHING BROKE!! Even the servos held up! Check out the hit at just under the 4min. mark, got hit full on down the straight buy another buggy and just kept going! He got better the more time he had with the buggy.

But it lived to see another day without a dime spent on the car out of the box after that beating.?&^

nothing broke:eek: it was a little rough but not bad for first time. he had a rice wall ride at around 6:00 you could tell he was getting more used to it near the end of the vid. just needs to get used to the buggy and jumps. practice, practice, practice. i will probably end up doing that when i drive mine lol. ill maybe see if i can get a vid.

Watching that video brought back very painful memories........We were all at that point when we started our own RC journey in life. Just be glad it was with a caster. My first race was with a MRC Lunch Box. I know some of you are that old to remember the original Lunch Box. On that note, during my first main with that lunch box, I basically eliminated the competition by taking them out one after another. Not on purpose, but hell I barely knew how to drive the thing, much less I had an old futaba stick radio!!!!!!!! On a lighter note,....I did take 1st.

+1 to the toughness of caster. my K8t has taken some spills and nothing but a bent attena. i was driving it at my bmx track and screwed up a jump and the thing flew through the air vertical (front down.. tail up) and over shot the jump. when it landed it just bounced back up like nothing happened. i still need some oil in my shocks though it still bottoms out to easily.

We won't recap all the hell mine has been through but it's still going. I'd give it ten thumbs up but I'm not a freak like that so two will have to do.
