hey coopy
I used to work for Nitrotek and the vrx2 buggy was okay but the chassis was going through alot of bad changes so much so that it will be shortly discontinued in place of another 1/8th buggy
my advice to you sell the VRX and stick with the Caster
Rob and Ash at Bolton Model Mart will give you good advice there good guys

High Coopy,
Just follow some of the guidance on this site for mods and its a great buggy, have 3 in the family now and they are all great, very solid buggy, any set up info you require just ask, in Uk you have pitman, unseenmagic and andy taylor, all great blokes and very helpful as well as all the great help from the other international drivers and forum members on here. Great family,
Caster is definitely taking off in the UK, here of lots of people discussing them on uk forums and majority is positive, Great to here Bolton pushing them as well

OK, it appears you got a new one. It has the big bore shocks and new wing and new aluminum parts. You also got the new foams.
That car is equal to a Mugen or a Losi. Do not undervalue it. In my opinion, the only weak spot is the body and that has even been improved in the last 6 months.

Interesting..... US versions come with everything. I do not want to have someone buy a Losi fuel bottle or an OFNA glow igniter when we have them available...

NOT SURE ALL I KNOW IS THAT ON THE ANSWER-RC UK WEB SITE IT SAYS > All the Caster buggies and truggies are inspected in this country for radio set up so you can be sure that the transmitter trims, servo reverse and End Point Adjustment (EPA) are all set correctly.. The kit comes pretty much ready to run and includes filler bottle and glow start. IT MIGHT BE A TYPE ERROR ! BUT IN THE MODEL SHOP THERE REDUCED BY £30 PROB BECAUSE THEY ARE NOT INC AND I HAD TO BUY THEM SEPERATELY , BUT AT £230 THEY ARE A BARGAIN EVEN WITHOUT THE BOTTLE AND GLOW START !
ANYWAYS I CRANKED UP THE ENGINE ON THE CASTER ZX 1 .25 YESTERDAY AND IT REVED ITS NUTS OFF STALLED AND NEVER WORKED AGAIN ... SO I TOOK IT BACK TO THE SHOP , WERE THE TRIM ON THE TROTTLE WAS SET TO HIGH WHEN I PULLED THE PULL START ... ENGINE BROKE UP . ANYWAYS TO CUT A LONG STORY SHORT THE SHOP PUT A NEW GO TECH SPORT ENGINE ON BUT BIGGER A .28 AND SET TIT UP FOR ME SO WELL DONE AND THANKS TO THE GUYS AT BOLTON MODEL MART AND ANSWER-RC UK BOTH BASED IN BOLTON LANCASHIRE ENGLAND .... CHEERS !
