Well I guess someone forgot to make this months so I will.
Well finally got to race again yesterday. Ran at Wow RC Raceway and broke out the OOOOLD 1.5R I have not ran for almost 4 months or so. Did the rear shock mod, bolted up my Trinity Extech .21 from my truggy to it and servos. Started it for the first time the morning of raceday and it was on! TQ'd Buggy and in the main I led the whole main with me and 2nd place (MP9) putting a lap on the field. Thought I had the race won and one the very last lap I bobbled twice and got passed. Made some last crazy effort jumps to catch up and did but on the last whoop section before the straight flipped over. Race done, I got second. Not bad for not running the buggy for so long. Also I ran stock RTR Tires, wheels and foams in the main!
The shock mod seemed to work really well for me. Had alot of off power steering and I loved the way the car jumped. A little nose down compared to before which I liked alot. My buggy is almost 1.5 years old or so with all Original arms, diffs, pinions, pretty much original everything except for maybe a shock shaft or something. My friend who has been racing it the last 3 months without buying a single part from me. Buggy wont let me down LOL!

First time out with my ex1.5r . I qual 4th and finished 5th I had the lead twice but my non caster body broke !I had to make three pit stops to get it put back on. I had an old 7.5 kyosho body on it that I had from 1999 it was new old stock just setting in the basment .Oh did I say that also was the first time I ever drove the car ! I made 4 laps just to see if it would work. By the main the difs had broke in and it was hooked up! I cant wait for chi town:D

I took top qualifier and went on to win the event driving my Losi LST2 brushless truck. I posted this win under my Team Driver area. Trying to keep it on the down low because I just entered this class to make 3 so the other guys would not miss out on the fun. Had no idea that I would win it. Now that my new EX 1.5R is here, I will be focusing my attention on it.

It was so nice being back home on a small to mid size track. I was so in my comfort zone and my truck was on rails. I wish i could drive like this at the big tracks but I'm out of my comfort zone and have trouble with the depth reception. Maybe in time. Anyway i TQ'ed and won corr truck.;) Watch out, Rick is BACK.:D

Depth reception?
