UPGRADES???

Hi everyone, I'm new to the Caster racing team, and will be making an order here very soon. Just curious as to what upgrades some of you like on your ZX1-R buggies.

Does the lightened/milled chassi make any noticable difference over the stock kit chassi? Any need for aluminum rear hubs? Stuff like that.

Thanks for any advise, can't wait to start test and tuning this buggy.

I could suggest the dynamite throttle linkage, 1 piece or 3 piece engine mount and im sure all that ran it would aggree the new big bores.

you could get also the hardened captured hinge pins... mine haven't broken yet but I hear it is a weak spot

The new kits come with the new big bores now right?

Big bores are included with pro kits now that they are in the U.S. (bigbores)

Only upgrades I have done are captured hinge pins and 3 piece engine mount and sportwerks throttle brake linkages. Those are the only major ones. Other than that the buggy and truggy are SOLID!
