I had always used analog servos until I bought a Hitec 7955TG servo for my EX-1 buggy. It works very well, but it makes an electronic popping sound in the neutral steering position if any resistance is applied to the servo horn in either direction. Almost like it's twitching from interference, but when I look at the servo horn, it isn't moving? None... It works flawlessly, but that sound has me puzzled. I haven't messed with the programming features of the servo. Still using the stock settings. Is this typical behavior for a digi-servo? The radio I'm using at the moment is a cheapy Tactic 2.4Ghz radio with the EPA set at about half throw. I just use it for bashing. Everything works fine. Any advice on what the sound is?

According to Hitech that is the sound of the digital. It is constantly adjusting it's center position and does not interfere with normal operation....

Awesome. I knew it had to be something like that. Electronics are amazing these days...

I have two of these, one in my Buggy and one in my Truggy, they both do the same thing, and work flawlessly.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up for me YDBD and Parrotman. I was just curious.
