Finished 6th today A-main with the K8T. Was running good all day but on the second lap of my main I lost ALL my brakes. Ran the hole 20 minutes that way. Really hard LOL!
Found out my throttle servo gear stripped only for brakes.

Race #2 of the FTMS sat.
I won last sat at this track. Was there fri and found the same performance I had last sat. Sat morning I show up late and didnt get a practice run in. When the first round started I found out the track was blown out really bad. Never seen it this bad b4. Had the wrong tires on and did 11 laps. That run put me 4th. Diffrent tires the next round was good and got on the lead lap of 12 laps witch put me 2nd. The 3rd round was going great 2 mins in. I was sitting first and that would give me a 1 and 2 finish going into the main. But my wheel nut came off and ended the run. I qualed 4th over all. The main got rained out so I have a 4th place finish. They should have the results up soon.

Well our second nitro summer series was yesterday. I had great qulaifying in my buggy was qualifyed first after 2 rounds and then the losi sponsored guy showed up the last round and out qulifyed me. He is a good friend of mine so no big deal. I also got beat by someone who should be sponsored and ended up qulifying third to start the amain. Had a good start in the amain running second for about 5 min and then the rr cvd came apart. I got it fixed and it took awhile. I managed to finish 9th. My buggy was really hooked up. During qualifying with the truggy I broke an a arm the first round had engine problems the second round. The third round I went from qulifyed last to third in amain group. After the next heat of truggy I ended up 5th. Once again I had a great start in the main was up into third for about 5 min and then it happened again the left rr shock eyelet pulled out. Got it fixed and manged to race up to 6th place for the finish. All in all I can say that my cars are getting better. I had a great time this weekend even with all the problems. Thanks Chris ps I also bent the crap out of my frt shock tower on the buggy so I am going to order the carbons ones and straighten the aluminum one for a back up.

In the 2nd round of the Ontario RCPS, we ran triple a-mains in electric as usual, and pulled off a 3rd place finish. I ALMOST locked up 3rd in nitro too, but got passed cleanly with 2 laps to go, and had to settle for 4th. With over 100 registered drivers, my results were terrific, and once again...CASTER KICKED BUTT!!!

The first round of the Northeast Pro Series Round #1 was held this past weekend at CRC Raceway in Rome, NY. Friday practice had beautiful weather and my ZX1.5R was dialed. A few minor tweaks and it was flying. Saturday came with a ton of rain. They reduced the 4 qualifiers to 2. I TQed the first round in Open Buggy while it was raining. The second round of qualifying I qualified 2nd. The A main came around and I did not change the set-up. The shortened A main was an awesome race. The TQ car and I had a great start. We were only a couple corners apart all race until about 5 minutes to go when I got caught up with traffic. So the end result was qualified 2nd and finished 2nd. SO far this year in the Open class I have qualified 9th and finished 12th at the Motorama race and Qualified 2ns and finished 2nd in the Pro Series. I am feeling more and more confident with the new car.

Check out the triple a-main results, and you'll see Abiye edged me out by 3 flippin' seconds in round #2 after trading positions about 5 or 6 times. It was CRAZY CLOSE!!! Then, in the main, it was all about Andy and I with Abiye out of the mix. I was a corner or two behind Vetor for 10 minutes straight, but that son of a gun just doesn't make mistakes, and I couldn't catch him. I wound up 10 seconds behind him and finished 2nd after ten minutes.
The nitro race was a bit of an upset to be honest. In warm-up I realized that I had no front brakes AT ALL. I managed to settle into a smooth line that was not my 'happy place', but I did the best I could with a consistent style since I couldn't throw my car into the corners like usual.
I had 3rd place in the bag, and a second podium finish, but got reeled in by JB Catricala and just couldn't hold him off without my brakes working to help me hold a really tight line. I let him by with two laps to go because he was just faster out there and deserved the win. It's not right to limp around the track holding faster guys up, just to save your position. Certainly not my style! The faster guy won, and I wound up in 4th. Period!
JB and I put on one HELL of a show in the nitro main though, that's for sure!!!

Really looking forward to turning the tables in my favor in the dirt. Will keep you guys up to date on how that goes down.

Not sure why but a state wide paper did a story on racing rc cars. I missed most of the drivers meeting that exsplained what they were doing. Ooops. Any way, got nothing to do with caster but thought it came out pretty good.

Went racing today and i was a little upset with the low turn out in E-class today:(. But i can tell you that both my buggy and truggy was dialed.:) There was about 50 entry's today but most was nitro truggy/buggy. Out of all the racers there today i was the only one that qualified with 14 laps "with my truggy" and the only one to do a 29 second lap time "with my buggy" So since there was only 5 in E-Buggy i wanted to see how i would have done in the nitro classes. Very well.:D

Failed to get any pictures, but...I just raced at the first round of the GLORCS series, this past weekend at Full Throttle Raceway, in Ransomville, NY. I finished 5th in nitro and 4th in electric. I was PISSED about electric though. The leader and I checked OUT early on, and never looked back. We were only about ten seconds apart, and I had 1-1/2 laps on 3rd place at around the 9 minute mark, when out of the blue, my car rolled to a stop. I still had steering, but no throttle! The motor wire had come undone. I fell from a RUN AWAY 2nd to 4th. :(
Guess I still can't complain right. Just makes me feel better! Haha...

Ran the last race of the state series in Pro Truggy. Qualified 5th in the B-main. Was running second and third battling for a while. Had a couple tumbles and finished 5th I think. Truck was awesome though. Did some setup changes to the front toe, shock and diff fluids.

We had a really good turn out yesterday a Medina RC Raceway. www.medinarcraceway.com (http://www.medinarcraceway.com/) There were 144 total entries, 32 E Buggy.
My day started out early because I had to pick up a friend on the east side of Cleveland and then drive south to Medina. We arrived at the track at 7:00am after a 2 1/2 hour drive. I wanted some good practice with my new set up. I am running 6s and a 1400kv motor now. The track is fast and flowing with some really big air. I ran a few miniutes and checked my temps everything was running perfect. I charged it up and ran 10min as fast and as hard as I could, it came off the track with 91* on the ESC and 111* on the motor. I was really happy. Here is the real kicker....... it only took 1706mah to top it off after 10min of hard race pace running! The first two heats of Escale ran and the TQ was set at 10 5 07. I prepped the car for my first heat, everything was going good then disaster struck. I cased the big jump and the motor moved and destroyed my pinion. I only made 8 laps. Next heat was much better with a 10 5 07 that put me in 2nd over all. The third heat started off good and I was running with the top guys after the resort when my right rear shock blew out. I should have pulled the car but I kept running. It was a handfull to say the least. I finished the heat with 9 laps a blown shock (the G clip came out), bent front shock tower and a broken rear sway bar link. There was a new TQ set that round and I was bumped to 3rd. The day light was fading and I knew it would be a rough main I have a real hard time seeing at night under the lights. Due to time constraints the Escale A main was shortened from double 10min to a single 10 min format. I was gridded up in the third position, the tone went off and I was plowed from behind and exited the first turn in last place, I had a few more mistakes and had to really fight the rest of the race to make up positions. With the two bumps from the B there was 12 cars on the track. I finished 5th in the A Main. It was a very respectful finish with the competion that was on hand.
On another note out of the 32 Escale cars there were 6 Caster cars in attendance. I got home at 2:00am.
12 in the Amain, wow crowded! How did you get a G clip to come out???wtf???

I also ran a friends nitro MBX5 buggy but it didn't have good power:rolleyes:, bottom or top end. 1st heat the motor came lose. The 2nd it got over 320 degrees and in the main a rear cvd pin came lose and had only front wheel drive so i pulled off. I will be trying it again soon and hope i will have better luck.;)

Just raced in round #3 of the Hardcore R/C Sunday series, and made both mains.
I put in a brand new glow plug before the main, and it didn't tuen worth a damn. Proceeded to flame out 3 times before replacing it. That solved that problem, but then I bobbled and had a bottom pillow ball pull out of the arm. Grrrr... Finished 12th in the A-main though, and there were over 100 drivers there, so the car was amazing otherwise!
I finished 2.9 seconds behind the winner, in electric, giving me second overall.
On another note...
There are ALL KINDS of Caster's out at the races now. Every time I turn around, you see the Caster buggies up here in Ontario. Next stop...world domination!!! LMAO...

Hey guys. Had a club race yesterday. Vetor came down from Canada. He looked ok in practice considering hes never been on this track before. Only about 1.5 sec off the pace. Was looking forward to this but, he had speedo problems in the first round and left.
I on the other hand had a dialed car for the first time Ive owned this car. It was working the bumps and jumps like a mugen. Well, it acted and looked like it but didnt feel like it. Either way it was stable and fast. I had over heating issues all day.
First round was horrible. Car was bucking and bouncing like crazy and power faded last lap. Tq with a slow 11 laps.
Second round 1mm higher ride height and car was dialed. 1 warm up lap left power to the end of a 12 laper. Had a 12 5:00 going most of the run till I flipped off the track over the top of the hill. Tq by 4 secs.
I went up in oil 2.5wt to see if it would land better for the main. Well it did but I didnt like the result. Car wasnt soaking up the bumps any more and was getting tossed around. Had to slow the pace down but still fast enough to run out front. I wanted to race some body so after getting out front I slowed way down.I was hoping my buddy would have caught me but he never did. I have video. You will see how bouncy the car is. Should be up late today?

The 3rd round of the CRC Raceway Sunday Series was held yesterday. My zx1.5R was great in practice. I qualified 5th for the A-Main. Right from the start I made up a spot and was running 4th. Right before the pit stop something went wrong. The car did not want to move. After inspection I found that a rear pinion bearing seized up. Just a little bad luck.
