(As you can maybe tell i am preparing my K8T for break in ?&^)

My RTR K8T was not loctite from factory unless the blue gook disappeared. Anything metal to metal loctite.

If you're in a hurry at least do the four screws that mount the engine on top and the four that hold the bottom. That will at least take care of the major problems.

GL and hope you enjoy !!

P.s. gotta run got some sleep time to do. wifee calling me!!!

I never loctite the top motor mount screws....but I do loctite ALL the screws on the bottom of the chassis except the 2 that hold the steering rack. I also loctite ALL screws on top except the front brace screw on the steering assembly.

Loctite DOES work on metal to plastic applications.:D:D

Skeller why? Is it that you don't want to struggle when talking off the screws? I've taken mine off with tools without a problem after they've been loctite?

One day you will strip one of them out....then you'll see why.

I crank them down real hard and they won't come out....if you install the bolts then run the engine up to temp...then let it cool and tighten them again....they won't back out on their own.

您是炸弹 !!!!!!

I think he is talking about heat expansion and stuff. After it heats up and cools down they will probably loosen up and can be tightened more.
