Anyone can post there results of any class they raced in and wants to share with us here at Caster Racing USA. ;)
I will start this one out.
We had a great turn out last night in sc open. A and B mains. I qualified 2nd and took 2nd in the main. I didn't drive very smooth in the main as you will see in the video. LOL

I have the 10th scale 4wd s10b, but been running my boys slash out at hemet since there isnt no 4wd 10 scale racing right now til the big races start up. Plan on getting into the 8 scale electric scene real soon to though with the ex1.5r

Hey Rick when does the Sagebrush Classic race usually take place up there ? I would like to plan a trip up there for that race, plus I am long over due for a NV trip.

Eric, if you want to run that Sniper at Hemet they will let you run with the 4x4 short course guys, Another guy runs his b44 out there and its pretty competitive, but he has aluminum arms and 4mm carbon fiber shock towers otherwise the sc abuse might be too much. I havent yet raced my EX1.5 but hope to this weekend, Reveltion Raceway seems to have a regular Electric buggy class, I think I may go try my luck there.

Yeah I thought about running my sniper with the mod 4x4 sc class but like you said the abuse of the sc trucks is a lil to much for me lol .. Yeah revelation has a pretty good turn out i know West Coast RC Raceway gets a good elec 8 scale turnout but there running the Reedy Race of Champions this weekend. Was actually suppose to run the reedy race with the sniper til I found out the entry was $75. and thats just way to much to race an r/c car.

I dont think I will be racing at Hemet this weekend, Im dying to get my 1/8th scale on the track so it will be one of two tracks, Revelation or ARC. Probably ARC because its closer but I will probably have to race against nitros. But thats ok. I would consider West Coast but Reedy race is going on there.

Yeah I hear yah I want to start running 8 scale again when I was running Nitro 8 scale back in the day it was a blast so I am sure the elec 8 scale would be dialed. ARC is a nice place I use to go to their old track quit a bit back in the day, but havent been to the new one yet just seen their website. Elec 8 scale will be just as fast if not faster than the nitro guys you should be fine.. Are you gonna be doing the Grass Roots Racing Series and the JBRL series this year ?? I will be doing both I should be able to order the ex1.5r befor they start so I can run 10th scale 4wd and elec 8 scale for both series.

I will be doing the Grass Roots series, JBRL maybe a couple races. Grass Roots starts in 3 weeks. It doesnt list an electric 1/8th buggy class on flyer but im hoping if enough show up they will add one. If not I will run with nitros. I dont mind running with nitros except if they do long mains then battery swap is an issue.

Very true I forgot about the longer mains for nitro .. Yeah the first round of the GRRS is coming quick Feb 12th @ Palm Desert Raceway, very nice track also they run it dry so it blue grooves, thats the last I heard anyways.. Hope they do run elec 8 scale I dont see why they wouldnt there is alot of electric 8 scalers out here

So I went and ran @ Hemet Competition Raceway saunday 1/30/2011 to run stock sc truck with my sons stock slash again and they mixed us with the mod sc guys. I ended up 3rd qualifier and finished 3rd due to mains being rained out so we finished where we qualified. Mind you one other guy and myself were the only stock sc trucks and the other 9 were mod cause there were 11 of us all together, so I was out qualified by 2 mod guys which one was my bro who is a factory Kyosho driver. so all in all it was a pretty good outting for running a stock slash.
