i waws driving my K8T RTR around and doing so jumps and my exhaust/muffler comes off the little silver peice that goes through the end of it (end nearest were the exhaust actually comes out) after it comes of this it ends up falling into my side gaurd and half blocking the exhaust from coming out properly making it run bad. is there a way i can keep it on??? if no1 understands what i am talking about ill post a pic.

Also what the best way to go about cleaning RCs?? cause where i drive its hard dirt with small layer of loose dirt/dust and it gets dirty alot!

You can flare the manifold pipe so the connector cant pull off and put a new cable tie.
To flare the manifold i would use a pipe or rod about 5/6mm thick and then wedge it in the manifold while rotating it 360 degrees to flare the lip a bit.
As for cleaning blowing off teh vehicle with a compressor is ideal and use a 2 inch firm bristled paint brush to get in all the gaps.
Works for me but if the vehicle is very dirty then a strip and clean is in order by washing all parts in a soap solution or with degreaser.

Yourdogg, you need a 4mm grub screw that goes on the side of the hole then loctite it in with blue. Also get yourself some good tools and that will make your life a whole lot easier.

Speaking of Tools, I have been using the Caster ones now and they are Great. They are light as hell and the handles nice and big and have ridges on them so you can grip them very easily. I love them. I do have a extra set in stock too (shameless plug LOL)!

I put a pair of bigger needle nose inside the pipe and tape the handle of the pliers with a hammer lighter to flare the pipe out. You can also just use a pair of channel lock pliers and bend the end of the pipe out all the way around just a little to flare it out so it will not slip off of the zip tie and gasket.

The last pic is not too clear but it has a flared lip from working the screw driver in a circular movement.

I understood your rookie talk, lol. You need a 4mm grub screw then loctite it and tighten with good tools (ball end hexes). It will never come loose again.

Meanwhile, so you can at least drive it, just tie wrap it on the body tight until you get your hands on the grub screw.

If you look on the side or front of the part on the pipe where the wire goes through to hold it on you will see on of those holes is threaded. A grub screw goes in there and tightens to the pipe to the wire.

Look at the green circle you drew. That hole is empty because the vibration of the engine loosened it and as a result you are missing a grub screw that screws inside the hole.
I don't have access to my car for a pic but look in the manual where they are building that part and see the small screw that goes in there. You can't miss it cause there is only 1 screw.
When I get home I'll try and post a pic but you'll probably find it b4 anyway.

Alternatively you can take a close up of that green part you circled and I'll draw where it goes. GL!

ok so a 4mm grub screw goes through the top or through the side??

It cannot go through the top. The piple holder rod goes through that. Only the side or front. Whichever side is threaded.
