Hi everyone, I am Eric Hase. I am 30 yrs of age. I currently Reside in Southern California. I have been in the racing scene for 22 yrs now, and 17 of the 22 yrs actually racing. I lost 5 yrs of racing due to cancer back in 2002 at the age of 22. I am in remission now and looking forward to an awesome year with Caster Racing USA. I just wanna thank Mike and the Caster Racing crew for this awesome oppurtunity to be part of Caster Racing USA for 2011. If you have any questions or concerns feel free to post away. Yeah I will be out there for round 1 . Tracks gonna be ran dry blue grooved with wet sections due to dirt issues they are having after the track change, gonna be kinda interesting to see what happens with that.

Yeah its gonna be tricky for tire choices. I have some 8 scale Panther Boas in soft already mounted, and 2 more full sets of the same un mounted if you want them I have no use for them at the moment, so your more than welcome to them. Thanks, I would like those Boas if you dont mind. I have a few sets of tires for my 1/8th but am trying expand my options. I can give you some short course tires if you need some. I have some unmounted switches with foams in soft compound new in package.

Thanks for the offer on the sc tires but I have so many now I dont know what to do with lol . No problem on the 8 sclae tires dont mind helping a team member out. They should work good out there in palm desert to actually. I will be running the Boa SC tire so its basically the same thing. Now if the track was gna be run completly dry I would go switches for sure. I actually had new switches mounted for palm desert than read the web site about it being wet and dry so I went back to the Boa sc tire I run at hemet

Lmao to funny the sad part its a guy who calls himself that, we actually had Martin Davalos from Rockstar Makita Suzuki out there at hemet doing some practice with his losi 8 scale ride, cool guy thats for sure. Kevin Burnett of the SD Chargers is a regular at the local tracks here also, actually does more of the big races during his off season and also runs for Losi

yeah hemet races sunday at 11 am so that wouldn't work , but the disneyland invite is very tempting :) the family and I are way over due for a disneyland trip , it has been awhile that's for sure. Just give me a call when you get into town and had your relaxation and family time in cali. Looking forward to meeting you though.

I didnt get a chance to get to hemet tonite for practice I am pulling a no practice arrive and drive for the grass roots rnd 5 lol; so I will see John Cook saturday so I can pass the 411 on to him.. I will keep getting everything set for it I am looking forward to this battle its gna be a blast.

Hi this is Sophia Hase Eric's wife and I am letting everyone know Eric was rushed by ambulance to the hospital yesterday at 3pm due to pancreatitis and they think he may of ruptured it, He is in x-ray right now as I speak I will keep you guys posted on his conditions as soon as I hear anything , thanks Sophia Hase

Eric will be realeased sometime today they have been monitoring him over the nite to make sure no more swelling occurs in the pancreas, the Dr says he got lucky if he wouldnt of came when he did he may have ruptured his pancreas do to the amounts of rapid swelling he had. I will keep you all informed if anything changes, thank you Sophia Hase

He races at, Team Chaos is his current team, they are the local track owners as well. We practice and race for free , so we have no shortage of track use. Another track just opened in our area (Antelope Valley) as well. So that gives us West coast R/C, OCRC,Coyote Hobbies, Revelation, milestone, Hot Rods, Hemet all within 2 hours or less of us in L.A. county which would give Caster a solid visibility platform....

His Dad just sent me a resume. I'm just checking on everything to make sure he's all good. Can you check results at those tracks for his name. I think he races at the same track you race.

I was only able to find one result sheet on him and its from a friday nite series race @ controlled chaos raceway where he is 2nd in e buggy. Maybe he has some sheets on hand he might be able to send your way, I am having no luck finding any results on him from any of the tracks listed

Went racing yesterday @ Hemet Competition Raceway qualified 2nd finished 2nd in 2wd stock SC And might I add this was one of my poorest runs ever and every one was nice enough to let me know that to :&!@ it was horrible I couldnt get my head outta my <*& to save my life. Had a blast though laughed the whole race

Thats the stock Associated RC8BE body . I was actually looking for the J-Concepts punisher but couldnt find it in any of the hobby stores around me so went with the stock one and actually like it better due to the low profile of it. I will post some more pics of it soon cause I have the scoops cut out now with Fl.Orange screen in the scoops to keep the big dirt out, but still allows more air flow for cooling

Yeah I just ran the E-Buggy Saturday for club racing and had nothing but issues...Not with the car either it was other comp. parts I had probs with. 1st round broke left lower a arm (mugen arm) , 2nd round motor shifted away from pinion 3rd round broke right lower a arm (mugen arm) Main the batteries came disconnected lol so needless to say I had a bad race day. It happens :) Just went through the entire car and re did everything since I did purchase it used I figured it was time to do it. I will be running the Sidewinder race oct 22nd and 23rd in E-Buggy. BTW I did get the 1st place trophy since I was the only e-buggy and had to run against nitro. lol I didnt earn that trophy though I rather earn it the right way. I do feel good knowing I was the talk of the track when I was passing the nitros down the straight like they were sitting still :D

Yeah its a 2 day race. No entry limit and you can sign up the day of the race. $45 first class $35 for additional classes. Click on the flyer it will take you straight to the tracks website thats hosting the event.

I dont think im going to be able to meet up with you guys that weekend, I have some family plans that will be keeping me tied up that weekend.

it will be tough for me financially to make the jbrl race due to the Sidewinder race the weekend before. plus the 29th my wife wants to have a Halloween party at my place so if thats the case racing is totally out of the question for me lol. if the party is a no go than I am almost certain I can make westcoast the 29th. I think you should make the Sidewinder instead LOL .

Eric, As of now Im planning on running the Sidewinder Race also.. Who are you going with, we should try and pit together. I may go out to ARC and practice this weekend even though it wont be on the same layout, but I havent driven my EX1.5 in over a month, so I need to shake off the cob webs.

I am gonna be pitting next to some buddies from the hi desert but your more than welcome to setup camp next to me or with me either way is fine with me :D .... Should have plenty of tires and wheels with me that your more than welcome to also

There is gonna be a halloween race at Hemet Raceway oct 29th so thats an option also. There only running SC truck but I am trying to talk them into doing E-Buggy also

Ran Ebuggy for the 2nd time ever @ the Turkey shootout @ Hemet Competition Raceway sat 11/19 ended up qualifying 5th out of 9. Rough start in the main I got tangled with a Tekno driver or should I say I got the wheel by a tekno driver on lap 1 lol so needless to say im dead last about a half a straight behind the pack at this time. Made my way up to 3rd where I was running the last half of the race when I decided to wrap my hands around my own neck and choke with 2 laps to go losing 3rd by 1 second.. Had a blast and was very stoked with 4th saying 1st was a HB driver and 2nd and 3rd were Tekno RC drivers who have been racing ebuggy for 4+ years. Will post results as soon as there up on the website.
