Hi guys, great to be part of such a great team. I've been involved in RC racing on and off for about 15 years. I will be racing my EX-1 and my S10B this season, the EX-1 I race against the nitros usually. Both cars have been turning heads and getting Caster Racing noticed here, so hopefully more people will give this great company a try.

I haven't heard much from you in awhile and this is just a check up to see if everything is going well and you plan on still racing this season?

Hi Rick,, Yes I'll be racing in two weeks in a Big event here. I'll be racing 1/8 buggy (E-Buggy against the Nitros), 1/10 4X4 buggy, and 1/10 Stadium. Will give an update of performance once done.
I was out for little over a month travelling for work in Mexico, Bahamas and Florida so had not had much time for racing, but looks like no more travelling for a while. I'm also contemplating getting a ZX1.5 to run in a Nitro series here.
Will keep you posted.

Hey Guys, I was able to get a kid to tape a couple of my practice laps with my phone the other day. This is me with my S10B on local track, I was experimenting with different settups. The track now is fully carpeted so have to change settup again.

Yep, and it's very close to my house which is even cooler.
This is a video of me this past weekend with my EX-1 practicing. This track is about an hour from me, it is where I'll be racing on the 22nd. The track this day had not been taken care of and was SUPER dusty and bumpy, but allways fun.

Weather sucks!!!, LOL. We only got 1 round of qualy inn, and the rain started HEAVY, and that was it. On a good note, my EX-1 is dialed. Was 2nd on my qualy, 3rd overall by less than a second, out of about 50 entries. New date looks to be the 26th. Aslo, I got a K8t and a Zx1.5 so I will give nitro a shot also pretty soon. The Truggy is ready, the buggy will have to wait a little till I have money for an engine.

Weather keeps messing with us here,, but this time, we got the whole day in. Finished 3rd in 4wd mod buggy and 1st in mod Stadium Truck.
It rained overnight so the carpet was super damp in the morning. Sun came out so it was drying pretty fast. The tire of choice for this track is ussually Panther Switchs, but with all the moisture they were a no-go in the morning, so for my first qualy I tried the stock caster pins. They were way too loose (too stiff compound), I was able to control the trigger and finished 2nd. For the secong qualy, I tryed some calibers, for the first 3 mins of the 5 min qualy they were just as loose and the pins, but after the 3rd min mark the track was a little dryer, and the grip was getting better and better, I was running 4th, and by the end I cought up, and finished 2nd again. For the main, the track was dry, and I had just ran the ST a-main, and won with Panther Switchs in my T4 and they worked great, so in came those for my S10B.
Started the 4wd a-main 2nd. We started, I kept pace in 2nd and the car felt very good. Around the 1 min mark, it got very clouded and a light drizzle started. All my grip went down the drain, I was running on Ice from then on. Had to give up 2nd, but were able to fight the grip to a 3rd place finish. 1st and 2nd, gambled on Proline Holeshots (which I didnt have handy) and I gambled on the track staying dry (win some loose some) my gamble payed off in Stadium, but backfired in 4wd. Overall I'm very happy with my driving, it was not an easy day, but the car kept together, and considering the circunstances did great.

Ok, raced in the big Nitro Series here with my EX-1 (only electric against all the nitros). There were about 40 entries in buggy and ALL the Big Guns were there. My EX-1 is just the perfect car for my driving style, after the 1st round of qualifying I was sitting 13 of 40. For the 2nd round switched tires and by the end of qualifying I was 10th. A-amin took 9 drivers so I was 1st in B, but ready to bump up to the A. BUT, as the Truggy C main started, the sky oppened up, and it started raining HARD, so after about 45 mins, of waiting to see if it would stop, and allready being about 4pm and the track under water, the organizers desided to halt and award in qualifying order. So I did get a 1st in B-main, but did not get a chance to bump and race the A. All in all I'm super Happy with my Caster, my lap times were super consistent and going to this event and knowing the drivers that would be there, I was not expecting a top 10, so super pleased. By the way, anouncers were having a ball, giving every single nitro I passed a hard time, making sure EVERYONE knew this is the ELECTRIC and a RTR model :) and yes I'm still running the fusion RTR Motor, this little thing rocks.

That is correct, I remember discussing whether getting a rtr to race was a good idea or not. Chris F used to do it also just to prove a point.

Hey, guys. Finnaly got to race this past weekend, I had been out for 2 months working, so had not even touched my cars.
It was a 3 day Indoor on carpet event, I raced 4wd Buggy, 2wd Buggy and 4X4 SC. Won 4x4 SC, got 2nd in 2wd and 2nd in 4x4 buggy.
My S10B was awesome the whole weekend with the only isue being severely worn drive cups that were brand new put on, on friday before the start of practice. Other than that, the car was super fast, and very predictable. I'm running the Mantis shock-towers front and rear and Mantis pistons. Battled for first place the whole weekend whith a Schumacher, same driver who I battled in 2wd. Had a blast, 4X4 SC won every single gualifyer and triple main, my SC10 4x4 is awesome, (cant wait to try the new Caster SC).
