I wish that I was going with you to WCRC. It is a very nice looking track. I had some ride issues meaning no ride, then a ride, then back to no ride, and now I got upset with everyone being wishy-washy so I just driving up to Cape Fear. My mom lives near there and will have a mechanic to fix my truck on Sunday so that i can make it back. I hope that you have fun at WCRC. Again, I wish I was there, but I am gonna go to Cape Fear instead.

Went to W.C.R.C. today, arrived at about 9:30am. Got set up, ran a tank or 2 thru the ZX1.5R, felt pretty good.
1st heat:
EXPLODED a Right Front lower a-arm. MY FAULT! I was "pushing" a bit too hard. 2nd heat (2 heats & a 20 min main. RAIN was close by.), Ran like I knew HOW to drive, finished 5th.
Main:
Didnt get to race! The freakin RAIN started 15 mins into the Truggy main, & the race was called. So however your qualifying order was, is how you finished. MINE was 5th in the A-Main.

Cape Fear Raceway - Holly Springs, NC
4th Place E-Buggy
I went down to Cape Fear Raceway this Saturday to run in the e-buggy class for the Big Four Series Shootout race #1. In the begining of the day the weather was cold and damp, but the track was dry with just a small amount of morning mist falling. I started out running a 13 tooth pinion (which is what I was running on the inside track) and a set of Calipers. The 13 tooth pinion was too small for this open track and the calipers seemed okey, but I thought I would try some I Beams in the second round with the higher pinion. Round 2 came around and I was set. Still fighting the track and trying to get things worked out on my buggy, but just could not seem to get my buyy to grip in the straight aways and had to much grip in the turns. Maybe I was spinning to much on the straights, but I had to do something to clear them jumps and get a rythum going on the track. I took a bad landing on the double, single into table top, into quad section and broke a left front shock end thus causing my buggy to ride kinda funny. Upon the shock end breaking, my drive shaft poped out of the outdrive cup and I only had 3 wheel drive. I was determined to race, but was forced to come in as not to do damage. You have to know when to come in and when to stay out. By the time the main was up (yes - mains, only 2 rounds of qualifing) I had my buggy fixed and detailed. Time to shine. I started in the 4th spot and managed to get upto 3rd at some point but then that same section got me again. I took another bad bobble and it cost me 3rd spot, 4th spot, and put me into 5th which is where I finished the event. I tried to make a come back, but I just could not get it done.
All in all it was a great day running my Caster EX1.5R at Cape Fear Raceway. I managed to turn a few heads with my buggy aswell as intertain a few visitors in my pit.
uh, what do you do in the pit to entertain?
