I'm giving some serious thought to upgrading the engine on my RTR. There's nothing wrong with the stock one, per se, but my inevitible need to go faster has finally caught up with me. As my driving skills continue to improve, I've become somewhat unsatisfied with the performance of the stock engine. And so I'm considering an upgrade. Now, the shop here in Des Moines carries Axial, RB, Thundertiger, OS, etc, and I'm sure they can get me whatever I want. I'm really considering an Axial .28 or .32, since the same local shop places no real engine restrictions for club racing here. A .32 goes for about $130 and it seems to be a decent mill for the money. I don't want to drop three or four bills, or an RB engine would be pimp. Any other suggestions? I'va also contemplated a Force .28 since we put ten gallons through the Ravager's .28 and it's just now showing signs of imminent death. Still runs like a raped ape jsut getting really hard to start and it smokes like a lit bag of Kingsford.

Not everyone is as crazy as me down here.

And hurricane Fay past without a problem but it's raining like crazy. Or better yet, it's sunny when the track is closed or I can't go, but wet when the track is open. ARGGGH!

When TF is virtualrc coming out with off-road / version 4? ....HURRY!!

Still raining like crazy over here by orlando. No flooding where I am at. Funny thing is the Local track, WOW Rc raceway is having there first pro race today! LOL! Track is probably under water. Have to work so cannot go but I doubt the track is any good, probably under water.

I lucked out over here until last night. Damn Fay pulled in the most rain we've seen yet. Of course we were on the good side of the Storm last Tuesday though. My tracks are shot today.

Ah they must have pushed it back as the last time I read the forum it was for September. I also read that the release date will not include off-road until early mid year 2009. Is that right?
