Crossing fingers we hope to have it in SA in 2 or 4 years when its FAMAR's turn :)

We hoping if all goes well that our track will be in the title run for hosting it.
Thats why we building a IFMAR spec facility.

When will they be at NC? Isn't this like the SuperBowl of 1/8th Scale Off-Road Racing?

Our local guys and SA Champ will be leaving for the worlds on the 11th.
I was away this weekend for the onroad gas nationals and was offered a ticket for the worlds but unfortunately business is very quiet at teh moment and needs my attention so i had to decline :(
Been looking forward to going as its a life experience especially if you love RC as much as i do but the global economy and oil price has hit the pockets of many so maybe next time.

Liverc will alos be doing the timing and i hope some video.
I just hope they jack up there band width or what ever to cop with the extra traffic.
Also daily if not hourly updates on Neobuggy.net.
The last worlds was a blast following it on Sgrid and neo.

I will be rooting for a friend who is the SA Champ.
His name is Dean Steenmans and i think he is capable of running with the big boys.

Last year African Cup he beat Zac Ryan and Wayne Walker and in 2006 he beat Ian Haley.
He has been multiple offroad gas Champ as well as electric offroad and onroad champ.

Love to get him to run a Caster but unfortunately they are the Losi agents for SA and he has been multiple champ for Losi over the years.
He will be supported by Losi at teh worlds and JP engines.

Forgot to mention Liverc is only for subscribers now. :(
Seems all the free traffic was clogging up the servers :(

Is this the SGrid you are talking about?? http://sgrid.com/SGM/index.php. Also how much is it and is it really worth it? Alot of RC stuff on there? Any way to view it before buying into it?

The Grid is ok....but it's nothing like it used to be. Now its kind like rctech...but with less real children.

I got in before they started to charge so I'll never have to pay.....unless I get kicked out.:&!@

I can't remember how much it is.

There is a Caster thread on there that a few of us go to.

Go there and creat an account. It should be free and they will make you an account for the grid. Thats how I signed up a long time ago.

the forum is ok and frequented by the more in the know guys.
Sgrid though you have to subscribe to.

Liverc.com though is having the free timing online so we can keep track of the racing as it happens.
