What problems. You cannot say you are just having big problems without saying what they are!! How is anybody supposed to help? EXPLAIN IT!

Hi Mike:

We have a problem with the engine in the ZX-1 we just received. My customer broke it in according to your instructions but after the fourth tank of fuel the engine locked up and we can't get it to move. What can we do?

I would assume this is it....Since it is literally the first I have ever heard of in over a year.

??? Remove motor, remove backing plate and pullstart and keep removing parts all the way till you see the crankshaft until you see a problem.

He is saying...

Step 1: remove motor from car...
Step 2: remove backing plate.....

Do you and or your hobby store have any experience with nitro stuff at all?

Box-Kar Hobbies does have experience with nitro stuff.
I don't think they would just say something harsh just for the fun of it.
I have seen slicktime's buggy and he told me this:
- The car didn't break in. (that can be a bad sign)
and
- That pull-start doesn't sound good. (in which the pull-start is not just jammed... something else I can't figure-out because I'm not a nitro professional)

ED KAR is an expert with electric RC's. (He is moderate with Nitro's, but he doesn't like them as much) Sad news is that... he just got a new job.

I just feel bad that slick4time still has 3/4 of a gal of nitro at home. (mabye to waste)

However,
This isn't my subject to join and chat. So, with that...

Good luck and I think they will work it out slick4time.

Well, either way, we will take care of him...but he honestly is the first person to have a problem with our go motor in over a year. I will be anxious to see what is going on. Luckily, we have experts down here....
