Well drove at the track last night and finally all the BST's I put in and all the help from you guys finally pays dividends. Car was fast and very durable. 2 comments from several experienced local guys confirms it ... and the best part is that they remembered I drove a Caster. ?&^ This was the first time I had an audience while driving. The K8T, PTM Go .25, big bores was dialed!!
Anyway, I was going to change the shock oils from 35k to 50k but it seemed to grip good that way and jumping was ok. So I may just leave as is.
As far as diff oils go there is 5k in center and front / rear is just grease "no oil". What is 0 oil / grease equivalent to?? Heavy oil or light?
BST's always pays off baby!!!
BTW, Caster Analog server holding up well on throttle although I spent about an hour on getting it right this time!!!!

I don't know what it's equivelant to other than just a completely open diff. I actually run 30K diff locker center and rear (rear is only partially filled though) with an open front and it works for me. Everyone tells me to tear it down and use lighter weights but I love the way it handles for me. I can't stand on-throttle push and with the center locked and the rear partially locked I can throttle-steer way easier.

Glad to hear you were doing good and got it pretty dialed. It is always great when it runs how you want it too!

Yeah with the shocks the way they are the car looks like a low rider ... without the bass. :D

Car was excellent last night. The big bores make a huge difference and the motor was sweet!
The only issue I saw was that the car tends to land on its rear wheels off jumps... unless I give it full brake. I would have prefered it to do the opposite.

Try letting off the throttle just a split second sooner off of the jump. Mine is fine jumping. You probably also have to adjust your brakes a little tighter because you should not have to give it full brake to bring the nose down.

mine seems to do the opposite but i lossened the brakes but its really just very good timing to get it to fly good. i was actually suprised i can land some of these jumps i do at the bmx track (exept for the vertical nose dive over the landing lol)

Drove at the track tonight and truggy was dialed once again and fast. I definitely need to put in some diff fluid to improve steering. I'll make that a project for tomorrow night (hopefully).
One thing that did not work as planned was the clear body. Looked good clean but once it got dirty it looked nasty. So now I need to find a unique color.

I would tell you pink, but Ronda Skelton runs that color.

Why not the Scarface theme like your Avatar?
Get a Vinyl Plotter and then Wrap it.
I have had some fun with those wraps---they come off pretty clean after each race too. You can always show up with new colors, or keep your Scheme going fresh each race...Just a thought...
