The Days Inn in Danville is offering a special rate to racers for this event. I reserved my room a few days ago and it was like $55 a night double bed. The hotel has a night club I think attached to it, and of course other amenities that are important. :) A few weeks away now and I can't wait to go!

how did you get the room for 55 a night. i was told by a racer from that area that they are 66 bucks a night. 32 bucks for 2 nights is like filling my tank for the car drive home.

i think there giving a discount to racers for that weekend. I just called and told them I was coming for the shootout at jtec raceway and she knew exactly what I was talking about and told me they were 55 a night. I said SWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEET! and booked it! I know the owner of the jtec track said on another forum they had a whole block of rooms for racers but they were filling up fast so I would call and reserve one ASAP!
