So Saturday I took my Caster cars out for there first race. I arrived at Delta Rc Hobbies and raceway at about 6 am yesterday. The tack is in a horse arena. The morning temps were in the high 30's so a little cold. The track is a hard packed moist clay that in the morning is sticky and wet and packs up on the tires. The track is a small track and very tight and narrow about 6 foot wide lanes. it was set up for 1/1th scale. Good sized jumps that would kick you straight up in the air. I went out with my 1.5r first at about 7:30 and ran a tank. I had a realy bad push. came back in and changed some ride height and droop a little better. I ended up breaking a wing mount. So i took my zx1r out to see how it work. I had better steering and was a little easyer to drive. It still need some inprovment. I limited my droop as the car was unloading realy bad because of the high bite. Car was getting better and better each run. Latter Tyler Vik showed up and wanted to see this caster ride! He looked it over and said WOW. He really like what he saw. We sat down and disscused some set up. And went out for my first qual with the car. Mind you these guys haven been on this layout for about 2 months now. This would be the first real track time on the car for me. So i went out and was running 29 sec laps but had a few crashes. Tyler who Phillip Atondo was tq and he was running high 28's and low 29's. I finshed 5th. So I was in the main. Tyler came over and saw some things that he thought i should try so we did. went out for the last qual. I was on a tq run when i flipped corner mashal was somewere elese when he finaly flipped me back over the motor had leaned out and flamed. got it started went back and still finshed 4-5Th. So i was in the Bmain. I did a few more changes to the car for the main. Went out Starting 3rd on the grid. I got the holeshot and was leading alot of the race. Good friend of mine and full factorty Associated driver and i were passing back and forth the lead. I bobbled and he got the lead. I was still in a transfer spot with 4 mins to i had to pit. Went in 2nd came out in 3rd a lap down some how. Someone cut the track. I ended up finshing 3rd. I was going to bring up that some cut the track to the promoter but it was late and didnt feel like complaing. The car was awsome. It had great steering rotated good and jumped better than anything i have ever drove. I also meet one of the other caster guys there. John. He really liked what he saw. In my main pretty much every one was out at the tarck watching my car. I got tons of compliments from everyone. Lots of people were coming up asking about the car and saying how good it looked.
All in all a great day of racing. I had i ton of fun and really enjoyed my self. Thanks caster and Mike for providing me with this wonderfull equipment.

I will post my indoor setup soon as well as pics and vid.

A good indoor setup is 5,7,3 with 50wt 1.4 front 45wt 1.3 rear with blues front and back. ackerman forward, 2 degrees toe in, thin front and thick rear sway bars. middle front tower, 3 hole rear. inside front arms, outside rears. front upper arms up, bottom hole in rear hubs, hubs all the way back. rear cambler link middle inside hole, upper outside hole. Try that next time youre indoors on clay with clay switches or raptors.
